Daryl Gibson is a freelance writer and book editor. Her work focuses on ghost writing of political biography and family histories. But her current project is a book exploring the challenges of parenting adult children. While the book is “in progress,” this blog shares her ongoing research and personal experiences. She invites you to use the “Comments” option to share your stories and advice, too, or contact her privately at the email link.
Daryl is a proud native Texan who graduated from Brigham Young University in journalism. She worked as a reporter for daily newspapers for 20 years before starting a freelance career. She lives with her husband Paul H. Smith in the beautiful Red Rock country of Cedar City, Utah. Daryl and Paul have four adult children and three granddaughters. She thanks them all for giving her an abundance of material.
